The term " nvm" is an abbreviation for the word nevermind. This is usually used when texting with people that you are comfortable with aka your friends( if u even have any). This is another short way of saying long words that our fingers are too lazy to type. Never use this in a school assignment.

You: Right, and the answer is the Economy
Fred: nvm
Fred is tired of your crap so he ends the conversation with the short term of nvm.
