The easiest way to summarize and define hardcore club hip-hop rap music: "Nigga-This-Fuck-That Music" as in, you will likely hear those phrases in this music. Contrast with pop / top 100 "dance music" like you typically get from Akon, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, etc.

Trance Music

The aim of Trance music is to give you a feeling of 'high' from the sound of the high musical keys used and the repeating of the beats that are between 125 bpm to 180 bpm. The nature of the songs have long intros, long endings, key change, fast interchange, happy melodies and classical music. It has many sub-genres that encompasses different electronic dance music mix such as techno, progressive house, deep house, pop, euro dance. For example, progressive trance can be a hybrid of trance with pop, classical, opera, techno and house elements. Although trance is hard to dance to in a clubbing environment, trance events are state of the art high tech laser shows with dancers and trapeze artists with superstars dj's. It truly is a music that does not appeal to everyone but to specific people who appreciate quality in their music and gives them an uplifting feeling that is unique and can only come from trance music. Musical A.D.D

the changing of a song half way through because someone got bored with it.

Generally this occurs with an ipod that has been put on shuffle mode or by the passenger in a car when the driver is to preoccupied to stop him.

Person 1: Man i wish he wouldn't stop changing the song halfway through.

Person 2: Yea he needs to just pick something he's totally got "Musical A.D.D"

Musical Deja Vu

When you have a strong feeling that you have heard a familiar song before and you associate it with a time or an emotion, but you aren't exactly sure when or where you have heard the song. This usually occurs most strongly at the beginning of the song, but can last the entire duration as well.

When the otherwise seemingly happy song came on, Paul felt nostalgic and a bit depressed, although he wasn't sure why. He was experiencing musical deja vu.

I hate it when I get musical deja vu because I can't remember where I heard the song before.

Music Juice

A liquid (saliva) that comes out of an instrument such as a saxophone trumpet and such due to blowing in it. A more politer/less disgusting way to say saliva came from an musical instrument.

(This term was first said by my music teacher)

"I tipped my saxophone upside down and out came the music juice."
"After a band rehearsal, there were music juice on the floor, everywhere!"
