a city just north of Boston, with the highest crime rate in the US. The city is run by thugs and gangsters who call themselves "Wes Mef" and are feared by all other gangs, including the Bloods, Crips, Latin Kings, and MS-13s. It would be in everyone's best interest to stay out of West Medford.
West Medford makes Compton look like Beverly Hills, you just don't hear anything about it because of their strict code of silence.

Appears to be a small, over populated town with too many bored police officers looking to bust kids for everything from talking on their cell phones in their cars that their parents bought them to buying alcohol with a fake ID at the Vineyard to going 120 in a 65 mph zone on the way to LBI. Kids start smoking pot and drinking as early as 6th grade and are damn proud of it. We're not snobs, we're just better than you. Shawnee kids party harder than most decent colleges and know it. We graduate highschool with the knowledge of bong ripping, beer funneling, shot pounding, and drunk driving. And we HATE school because, well, the administation and faculty are heartless, braindead, assholes. We know the backroads to any shore and go there constantly, especially in the wintertime. We frequent Camden and party in the parking lot, returning home unscathed, because we're fearless. We've all been to a bonfire in the woods somewhere, and we all know that kid who can hook us up with any drug imaginable. If it weren't for the Super Wawa and Riv we'd go hungry. We know that Wednesday night means all-you-can-eat at Pics on Rt 206. Everyone in Medford is either there to stay forever and doomed for eternity or WANTS OUT.

A tiny, overdeveloped piece of land which has/had 22 lakes and a P.J. Whelihan's. Medford Lakes includes its own k-8 school system and underworked, overpaid police force which has nothing better to do than roam the streets aimlessly. While there may be drug activity in ml, not everyone does drugs or knows where to buy pot, contrary to the beliefs of many snobs from surrounding areas. The high of a typical 'laker' kid is getting out of our school system into Shawnee High School or BCIT. While Medford Lakes may not be the best place in the world, at least we don't have rich snobs or rapists and murderers.

A great town i dont care what you say . All those people who live here and say "OMFG MEDFORD IS SOOOOOOO BORING" need take a look around them. The black to white ratio is 99 to 1 , less then that even. There is no crime . The is a gay ass highschool that we all take as a complet joke. It was nick named "shawnee prison" Dew to the ban on drinking water and the loss of ketchup cup. Cause they didnt fit into the budget which is like 4000000 dollars . There are mostly big homes over 5000 sq feet. Your 30 mins from philly 10 mins from the mall 10 mins from a movie theater 2 hours from NYC and 30 mins from the shore. Also there is no more building there due to the pinebarrens what eles can you ask for??? Oh and i cant forget the massive drugs that go threw this town , its kinda funny cause you wouldnt think it until you walked into shawnee for about 10 mins.

Part of Long Island made up of drug dealers, murderers, hate crime victims, and medal of honor recipiants. Some decent parts but has its ghetto areas such as Gordon Heights, The Pines, and Eagle Estates.

where to begin. this poor excuse for a town is approx. 1.2 square miles. Of its 27 lakes, most were destroyed when the town was washed away, and probably wont be refilled for years to come. a classic med laker would be caught at riv, grabbing a slice, and taking off..or at wawa with a prime case of the munchies. lakers enjoy smoking pot, getting trashed, and thinking of everyway possible to seperate medford kids from medford lakers. you live in lakes, you ride your bike. not just any bike, a classic beach bike with large handle bars and a large seat, some with baskets. your parents dont give a shit about your life, and you have the best times of your life at a random field where no one can find you. you know everyone around you, and can pronounce all the names of the random street signs no outsiders can read. you shop at murphys, and buy your gas at mobil. when your thirsty, you invest in a half gallon of ice tea at wawa, and couldn't have anything better. overall, everything about your life is a joke and you wouldn't have it any other way.
