A polo shirt made by Rene Lacoste, who also invented gay ear sex and made putting shoes in your boyfriends ass on Wednesday nights popular. This polo is made for the only the phoniest phonies and anyone who wears it swears off all manlyness.
Prep: " I got a new polo, its Lacoste, I even got a prize with it!"
Me: "What would that be?"
Prep: "A brand new Dildo for me and my boyfriend to use! It even has a crocodile on it, they usually sell for like $80 because they are made by special kids in china."

A clothing brand in which the polo shirts cost a bunch of money and the fabric of the polo shirts is of bad quality because certain deodorant mixed with sweat can leave permanent stains in the polo shirts.
I wore gel deodorant underneath my Lacoste polo shirt and now there are stains that will not come out when I wash the polo shirt.

Algerian word that refers to "gangsters" (and nit black ppl) ...they wear Lacoste sport tracksuits with Tn (Nike) all the time, or Sergio Tacchini suits as an alternative. They drive on "New" rai music -which is worse than trash actually- most of the times, but lately they came up with a new shitty trend, which is Djalil Palermo music..anyways, they suck. And also, everybody hates them as much as we hate boomers.

(2004) Synonym with white flight. Literally, an unorganized movement of white 16-22 year olds away from the old Abercrombie staple to once again, recapture a sense of patrician exclusivity characteristic of many American whites.

When a person refuses to wear/buy expensive clothing (ie. Lacoste, Ralph Lauren etc.). They will say that it makes them look 'preppy', and that they can find much cheaper clothing which, in fact, looks much better. They use this excuse to hide the real reason - they can't afford it.
Jeff: "Hey, like my new Lacoste polo?"
Melissa: "Why would you spend so much money on a shirt? I bought this blouse at Zellers for $7.99"
Jeff: "You're just Lacoste Intolerant, aren't you?"
Melissa: "Whatever" *Goes back in trailer*

Izod and Lacoste are two seperate brands. Izod began in the 20th-century in London. The name acquired prestige and an American businessman, Vin Draddy, bought the name to start his own company in America. Lacoste was started by Rene Lacoste, a famous tennis player in 1933 in France. Izod acquired the license to produce Lacoste clothing in the U.S. These were known as Izod Lacoste. This partnership lasted until the mid 1990s, when Lacoste refused to extend its license to Izod on the grounds that Izod was not producing Izod Lacoste items to Lacoste quality standards.
Example is unnecessary for izod lacoste
