When a Fox News commentator "accidentally" tells the truth. A variation of "gaffe", as when a politician accidentally tells the truth.
When Chris Wallace of Fox News Sunday asked GOP presidential candidate Michele Bachmann, "Are you a flake?", it was really a rhetorical question, i.e., a statement in the form of a question. Wallace was hastily forced to apologize for his "gaffox".
