Doppel-dufus

This term refers to a friend or close acquaintance, usually a male, that tries too hard to mimic or emulate someone they like or admire, including but not limited to - dressing or speaking in the same manner. However, they are considered half as smart as the person they are trying to emulate. The female equivalent is generally referred to as a "doppel-ditz." Often this term is used among college students.

John was Jason's doppel-dufus, constantly saying and doing the everything John did in the worst way.

dufus dust

A delightful phrase used on the one of the networks show called Blossom. The Joey character said he was by the school bus and he hoped he didn't get any "dufus dust" on him because he's so much (cooler) than those dorks on the bus.
I thought the phrase was dumb at the time and haven't heard it since but I thought I share what can be fun to say.

I hope I didn't get any dufus dust on me!!

Usually a male in his midteens to to mid twenties who constantly smiles and slides in poor taste jokes at inappropriate times. Usually slightly over weight, tall, wears glasses (broken) and has a hygine problem. Unable to interact socially with others or hold a job, and has carried the title of dork when younger.

See that guy with the big feet, greasy hair and the baggy pants?

You mean that dufuce with the broken glasses over there?

Yeah, him. Lets sucker punch him on the way out.

Everyone at Spring Break when DMX grabs the mic and grunts nonsensically: "Dufuck he just say??"

Dufus - acronym for Dumb User Fu*%ed Up the System . Often used in the Internet Technology departments to describe frequent computer violators.

That dufus in accounting is calling I.T. again because he's frozen his computer.
