However, this term applies to the slim percentage of politicians who first get into politics because they actually care. Once they get exposed to the money and power and begin selling their souls to the devil and become like the other 99% of politicians then they are a douchitician.
During the government shutdown of 2013, Douchiticians from around the country stood in line to get their soundbite and five minutes of fame, all the while fighting for the promotion of self and political party. Meanwhile, the country that they are elected to serve suffers.
