Bravely Default

Often considered the Final Fantasy that never was, Bravely Default is an innovative and critically acclaimed JRPG for the 3DS that happened to be one of Square Enix's non- fuck ups in recent years. Starring four protagonists, Tiz, Agnes, Edea, and Ringabel, and one really bitchy fairy, it utilizes many common FF elements such as the job system, crystals, and monsters while also adding in new ones such as the titular brave and default system that breath life into the rapidly staling RPG market.

PC Bravery

False bravery that comes from hiding behind a computer screen. Includes (but is not limited to) saying things that you would never typically say in a face-to-face conversation, making empty threats to people you don't like, and/or making up lies just to get a rise out of people (also known as trolling). These individuals are usually quiet and backward in public, but talk shit about everyone they can while they are on facebook or another social networking site. When confronted in person, they back down almost instantly.

brave new world

A book in which people are bred and grown in factories, where one egg can produce up to 96 different babies, all identical. They are predetermined to be Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, and Epsilon, with Alpha being the most intelligent and Gamma the least intelligent. They are conditioned and brought up, brainwashed in a sense, to love what their jobs are going to be. This caste system is strictly rigid and interaction between different castes is prohibited and undesireable. Each class, even the lowest, would not want to be any other class because they simply do not know how to live any other way, they do not know any other way of life. Everyone is happy. Everything is done in the name of progress and consumption. It is a perfect world.

Makes you think twice about wishing that the world was perfect. It scares you because we are heading for that world at this very instant.

Brave New World is an awesome book. If you don't like it, you either don't understand or you're running from the truth.

As brave as a falling star

Poetic way of telling someone that they are extremely brave or heroic. But it is also used ironically when their bravery goes too far and turns into madness.
The term "falling star" is used because symbolically, the rocks that turn into shooting stars have the courage to enter the Earth's dangerous thick atmosphere in order to make skywatchers happy and allow them to make a wish.

Person 1: Have you read in the newspaper that this guy conquered all of his biggest fears and revealed all of his secrets to the public in order for his crush to accept having him as her boyfriend?
Person 2: Wow, so it is true that love makes you as brave as a falling star.

bravehorse

(Verb) To have an intense, exclusive, one-sided conversation with another person in a social setting. Derived as a makeshift compound word, inspired by the pivotal scene in the movie “Braveheart” where William Wallace (played by Mel Gibson) gives a passionate, heartfelt speech atop a horse while his charges listen attentively. Bravehorsing is generally initiated by an intoxicated partygoer forcing banter on an often involuntary and unwitting victim. Although the person bravehorsing always believes the discussion is of paramount importance, the other party generally disagrees and is usually made quite uncomfortable. Simultaneous bravehorsing is possible, and also quite common between two especially drunk people.

1. "Look at him, just pouring his heart out about his ex to that girl right at the bar…he’s totally bravehorsing her."
2. Person 1: "Where are Elle and Ryan?"
Person 2: "They’re outside bravehorsing the shit out of each other. Looks like they’ll be gone for a while."
3. "Dude check out that girls fachays…I’m gonna just bravehorse her until she comes home with me."
4. "We need to talk. Watch out, I’m probably gonna bravehorse you pretty bad."
5. "Oh man, you were stuck in that conversation for like 2 hours! You got bravehorsed bad."
6. "Hey go bravehorse those chicks across the bar...I'll swoop in if it looks like you're struggling."
