Bloob Tube

A slang term for a television. Referring to how Televisions before the days of flat screens were a glass bubble screen with different colors of light bulbs in the back used to project the picture on to the screen. This term was also used for black and white televisions before they had color Television.

The family sat in the living room watching a movie on the Bloob Tube on Saturday evening.
