Jeff Beck

A decent enough guitarist who has nonetheless become the epitome of "overrated". Along with Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck was one of the very early guitar heroes. However the arrival of Hendrix made him yesterdays' news immediately and he spent the remaining decades churning out boring albums every few years that lack any clear musical direction. Regularly hailed as second only to Hendrix in guitar god status despite the fact that we have seen the likes of Eddie Van Halen, Randy Rhoads, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani and dozens more who blow Jeff Beck out the water. Usually Jeff Beck is namedropped by insecure rock snobs to impress people nearby, despite the fact that nobody really likes him that much, or are even that familiar with anything he has done. Mentioning Jeff Beck is a good way to heal any damaged credibility someone may have if they happen to say they like any currently uncool music.

Rock poser guy- "Jeff Beck is so awesome, for sheer technical ability and feel, he has no match."
Some guy listening (who hasn't heard any Jeff Beck) - " I agree totally, the way he plays guitar is amazing"
Rock poser guy - "Yes, I mean.....Jeff Beck, man.....just.......whoa"

beck oliver is the HOTTEST character on victorious! Prove me wrong but Andre competes with him.. they both so damn fine but beck oliver is played by Avan Jogia, a canadian. Beck dates Jade west throughout most of the show, she is played by elizabeth gillies.

Beck is one of te greatest musicians of all time, he has used sound effects in his songs such as annoying noises, video game sound effects, that sort of thing. over they years beck has made many awesome albums to name a few... Odelay, Guero.

Beck, is my favorite band, he has written awesome songs.
