A day in which two people celebrate being together as a couple. Usually the male buys flowers, chocolate or jewelery and the female is much obliged to receive them. It is one of the two days a year a man is expected to be romantic (well, everyday they are expected to be romantic but let's not count our chickens before they hatch). An anniversary is a day very similar to Valentines Day. It is a day for males to make up for everything that has gone wrong in the past 12 months with a ton of ass kissing, literally or physically, either way! An anniversary is a day when a man will go out of his way and secretly make romantic plans and do anything he can to make sure his significant other feels loved.
