Git is "the stupid content tracker". It is an acronym for "goddamn idiotic truckload of shit", especially when it breaks.

I fucking hate Git.

Git

Used in and around the North-East of England, git or geet is used in two very specific ways:
1) Used to amplify the severity or something
2) Used as a buffer in a sentence when the correct word cannot be brought to mind. In this context, it's use is comparable to the rest of the English speaking worlds use of the word 'like'.

1) "It made us git mad" or "Ya git poof"

2) "...and ah was git...whatever"

GIT

Short for "Global Internet Threat" or "Global Interthreat" if you want.
And by that I mean a threat to everyone using the internet, creator or user, like the Article 13 threat, that's what I consider a GIT.

Person A: Hey you know Article 13 that threatens the internet?
Person B: Yeah.
Person A: It's really a GIT.
