A species of demigod like creatures written in H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos like Cthulhu, Hastur, Rokon, etc; Most Great Old Ones are worshipped as gods in the mythos. Although considered malign; they are indifferent.

Great Old Ones slumbers under our very feet and must not be disturbed.
