A unicorn is a person who is willing to join an existing couple. They may join the couple only for sex, or they may become a more involved part of the relationship and spend nonsexual, companionship time together too.

A unicorn are supposed to be an animal extremely unusually rare and beautiful hence when you find a person who has a look or style to them which you normally find a turn off or something your normally just not into at all attractive, that would make them a unicorn and just like with little girl and unicorns in some cases when you find a unicorn due to there rarity and shock factor can cause some people to become obsessed or have delusions of being in love.

You: hey that guy over there with the long hair is unbelievably hot.

Friend: I thought your not into guys with long hair?
