Similar to Labour Trotsky and “Trots” pejorative. The UK Labour Party were formerly rebranded as New-Labour in the 1990's under centrist premier Tony Blair, and for e.g. The Times' political commentator Peter Riddell, (reported) that "an economist from Mars 'would conclude that the same government had been in charge throughout the second half of the 1990s".
Labour-Tory could be said as easily as New-Labour; "war-mongering, democracy-starving, Third-way, New Labour-Tory fuckers".
