A term bestowed upon those who wear the same clothes you have, just to be cool. They see the clothes you've got and they hop on your hype in hopes of receiving the same attention as you. Having no original style.

Person 1: Did you see that fool wearin some good wood yesterday in class?!
Person 2: I know! whatta hype hopper i swear!! i bought that chain last week and now he has one two?!
