One of the most stupid games you could play other than Neopets that is highly addicting but serves no purpose.
If you don't pay to play, don't bother because you will only see about 10% of the areas, use 30% of the items, and will be crowded with a bunch of weird people who follow you throughout the game, and if you ignore them, they will say you are botting and report you, and you will be suspended for a certain amount of time or even forever.
People there are extremely rude, even on the members forums. Say anything, talk about yourself, they might call you ugly even when they never seen you.
You could be spending 10 year of your life to fully complete the game, if you play every single hour of your life. The game is repetitive.
A lot of things require you to go on the "wilderness" where other people can attack you and kill you. You keep about 3/10 items you wear or hold, and before you notice, you lost your best armor or wasted your time traveling all the way there for nothing.
All the servers are completely crowded, even when they make new ones. The best training spots are always taken by mages who take your kills because they can cast magic spells and kill monsters first, which spawn about once every 2 minutes.
Training is completely boring and hopeless. The game gets boring, you won't know what to do, and nothing is available for you if you don't pay. So if you ask me, it's not worth it.

I played Runescape it was soooo fun. Omfg, this person got me banned because I didn't feel like answering him so he thought I was botting.

Get the runescapemug. Pretty much the opposite of fun. Fishing, combat, and woodcutting all play exactly the same, and all involve reading something in another tab until you stop hearing noises.

Get the Runescapemug. A RPG game which sucks. The only way you could like the game is if you have a Boy/Girl Friend that is probably thirteen who is self-conscious about His/Her appearance and you actually think they look like what they look like in the game.

Due to the ultra addictive nation of this online game, I consider one of the luckier of the people who have played this game and have got addicted faster then a crackhead looking for his next fix. I have (for the most part) not fallen for Jagex's evil spell of getting people addicted to it and I have a normal social life. And i am currently passing all my classes in school.
Unfortunately my friend (who introduced me to the game) quit about 5 times and KEEPS COMING back.
I HIGHLY advise if u never played the game, don't start. Take it from a current player of the game
Need proof? Look at all the 36 pages for this word. I haven't read them all yet but almost all the definitions are mostly about how Jagex and their runescape has ruined their lives and has changed it forever.
So please, if 36 pages of definitions doesn't tell you something about runescape, then what the hell will?
