Although both her parents were Jewish, Amanda considered herself Jew-ish, because she never followed any of the Jewish practices.

CYA-ishness

one's lack of culpability for foreseeable negative outcomes.

Derived from the acronym CYA, which stands for "Cover Your Ass" -- common parlance in the American workplace, used when warning co-workers to protect themselves with adequate, blame-deflecting documentation.

Joe is thankful to the Legal department for refining his skills at inserting stealth qualifiers (such as: "can," "may" and "helps to ...") to enhance the CYA-ishness of his written materials.

Cripple-ish

1. The act of still having the benefits of having broken bones, but being close to fully healed.
2. A word that is used to show anyone that adding "-ish" to the end of a word automatically makes it a real word.

After 10 weeks of having a broken foot, I still have a reserved parking tag for being cripple-ish.
