A union between two people that implies dysfunction, argument, and petty spats - in short what a long-term, monogamous relationship really is. The polar opposite of a "marriage" which refers to the Hallmark portrayal of what a union should be - perfect, serene, and classy.

Murrtown

A small city located in southern California. Rain doesn't exist here so drought is common. However, those who do manage to get lots of water have lawns where their grass basically yellow. People usually have nothing to do in this city so they go to the mall located in the other town or take the time to travel to the nearest beach. But when people are too lazy to travel, they just go to the city's Mulligans; kids of all ages hang out here. High school students are very spirited but like the rest of the people living in the town, they have nothing to do outside of school. It is also smart to watch out from the cops; they easily camouflage with the surrounding cars or the nearby bushes. If caught by one, be prepared to face intense interrogation and the eyes of others passing by.

I just moved to Murrtown; our neighbor's lawn is nothing but dirt!

Living in Murrtown is so boring; it's even worse when Mulligans is closed!
