Floater

A Type of Hallucination usually seen out of the corner of the eye , which looks like the wiggling tale of a sperm .

Commonly seen by people who have acquired HPPD (a disorder characterized by a continual presence of visual disturbances that are reminiscent of those generated by the ingestion of hallucinogenic substances) through abusing Dipenhydramine HCi (Benadryl) or Dextromorphan.

Floating Rock Mentality

A nihilistic mentality which mostly teenagers use to belittle and dismiss any tasks they have as unimportant in the grand scheme of things. Most often used by people who aren't actually nihilistic or mentally ill but by dick heads (usually teenagers) who don't want to do 2 pages of homework.

Dude 1: Dude, you're failing every single class. I can help you with homework if you want!
Dude 2: We live on a floating rock, I don't care

Floating Newspaper

A nickname or derogatory name for someone who goes around and tells everyone secrets or personal information you shared with them that was supposed to have been kept private.

Made in reference to the fact that anyone can pick up and read a floating newspaper on the street. Very common among high school age girls.

Person A: Hey, have you heard what Lacy has been telling people about you and Shon kissing behind the school?

Person B: Yeah, I know. I told her because I thought I could trust her, but she's a fucking floating newspaper!
