A hot shaped similar to a trilby or a bowlers hat that are said to be classy by some especially people born in the 1900s and popularized in the mid-to late 1900s and is said to be @high class” type clothing because of its pricing. People also say fedora’s are for hipsters.

“I’m going out to eat. Might bring my fedora to look extra classy”.
“Look at that guy he’s wearing a fedora.”

“Yeah he’s probably a hipster.”

When a girl passes out, usually from drinking too much, then one or more males busts in said girl's hair, creating a pool of what resembles a fedora.

Guy 1: "What's that on Emily's head?"
Guy 2: "We all pitched in and got her a Bill Cosby Fedora."
Guy 1: "Thats Emily, always drinking too much and wearing Bill Cosby Fedoras."
