Drop shot

A tactic that mostly used in Call of duty series, drop shot is done by pressing the prone button while you’re between a gunfight, resulting your opponent to not react fast enough that you’re at the position lower than his ironsight, you’ll evade all his gunshot then he will immediately get killed by you, large amount of pro-player or sweats in middle 2010s COD use this tactic to outplay their opponent but it also result them to not shoot accurately. Majority of COD player also insult the one that failed while do the Drop shot as a bad player, noob, tryhard, etc.

Person 1 : hey, you saw that final killcam? That kid try to drop shot me and FAILED, AHAHAHAHAHA
Person 2 : yeah, I saw it, that guy was ridiculously bad at this game

Drop

Drop can mean a lot of things. However in much recent times it's been increasingly used by businesses and corporations to denote a limited-time merch/product that has been released to the public. It often implies that individuals have a very short amount of time to buy the "drop" before it vanishes forever. It is presumed that drops serve as a sort "hype-generating" mechanism to create excitement and anticipation amongst its customer base and thus solidating the bond between the customer and the brand, which is typical as such with crafty modern business tactics. The term also may or may not have to do with the tech merch website drop.com (which AFAIK uses the denoted term way before most other businesses have picked up the term).

You know this term has reached mainstream status when even giant corporations like McDonald's have begun using it.

Dude 1: YOOO I just scored one of Adidas' latest Drops!!
Dude 2: Congrats man! I'd sell it if I were you, you'd probably make a ton of profit from that.
Dude 1: Good idea honestly, I might consider that.
Dude 2: Also, since when did "drop" ever become a thing? I mean, limited-time merch isn't a new thing, but it seems that this has become a standard business model term that more and more corporations are picking up. Even McDonald's started releasing "drops", which I guess was just some limited-time burger, did you hear?

Refers to careless package-delivery methods where said parcels receive multiple hard thuds on cement and/or gravel during their journey; sometimes da carrier may not even have da courtesy to actually stop his vehicle to give you your box, but instead will simply toss da package out da door of his van at you as he's whizzing by; extra points if he also propels it off da running-board wif a boot-bunt, for good measure.

Jim Carrey demonstrates da classic act of drop-shipping in da opening moments of "Ace Ventura --- Pet Detective", where he purposely abuses da carton of assorted crockery on its way to da slovenly deadbeat-ex's apartment, resulting in incredibly beat-up cardboard and a harsh rattly jangly sound dat obviously indicates dat everything got broken inside.
