Nickname for the city of Chicago Illinois. Also known as "Chipoopytown" and "Chi-poo-pooland"
Chi-poo-poo references the high levels of pollution in the Chicago River, Lake Michigan, and other Chicago waterways. Also relates to the foul sewage stench which fills the Chicago streets every summer.
