a scamming ad is an ad that looks like a real and legit thing that offers you the best deal but instead it is just a clickbait to try and get your credit card details.
human 1: look at this ad! it says i can get a free packet of pokemon cards!!
human 2: Cool! click it!
human 1: aw it wants my credit card details
human 2: well its a scamming ad

After considering Voltaire's dictum--"the perfect is the enemy of the good"--I almost just went after Voltaire himself, but avoided the ad homimen.

A description for layers in an ad. As an example: For most mobile games ads will appear, But even when you click the X button on the top right corner, a new screen will pop up that usually has the thumbnail of the game on the top, the name of the game in the middle, and below it all is a big blue button that says "Get". Ad Layers are defined by how many Ad Skips there are. 1 Ad Skip = 1 Ad Layer(s), 2 Ad Skips = 2 Ad Layers.
Person 1: "Yo look at this game I found!"
Person 2: "I've seen that game in an ad, the ad was so annoying since there are way too many Ad Layers on it"
Person 1: "shut up cracker"
