F.I.T. Scale

A scale used to rate members of the opposite sex,accompanied by forming the thumb and forefinger of both hands into 'L' shapes and raising them in a series of stages while saying Fhi-h-h-h-it! up to a maximum of 5 times.

The scale:
1. Fit: attractive, would happily go out with.
2. Fhi-it: Very attractive, would boast and show pictures to friends if going out with.
3. Fhi-h-it!: Extremly attractive and totaly out of our league.
4. Fhi-h-h-it!!!:'(: Supermodel, someone we'll never be allowed close to.
5. Fhi-h-h-h-it!!?!?!: Impossible, people just arent made this good.

a scale of one to OMG we're all gonna die

A variant of a scale of one to dead used to judge situations where a minor mistake has occurred that could nevertheless cause the deaths of all involved. Commonly used in space stations, submarines, nuclear power stations and anywhere else that requires a rapid response to minor errors if everyone isn't going to die.

Nuclear Physicist: Fortunately, we managed to contain the situation before it could deteriorate further.
Reporter: Just how bad is it, on a scale of one to OMG we're all gonna die?
Nuclear Physicist: I doubt it's more than a five. Can we finish this conversation in the bunker?

scalise disease

It is characterized by abnormal heart rhythms, sweating, impaired brain function, illogical & incoherent speech patterns and loss of sleep, among other signs. Symptoms are similar to those experienced by crack whores. Most commonly contracted via being close to a carrier of the biochemical disorder thereby affecting both men and women of all ages. The cure remains unknown however crack provides temporary relief.

race scale

the scale of race definition, starting at the lowest end of the scale with a lightly shaded ken (0.1 - 3.0), the on to the mid range darkie being a kennith (3.1 - 7.0) and up to the higher end of the scale being a kenwyn (7.1 - 10), the blackest of the black

Dichter Scale

The apparatus used to measure the magnitude of a girthquake. Similar to the Richter Scale used in Seismology.

Jay's girthquake measured 8.0 on the dichter scale and had Jill screaming for more.
