A gaming website that is generally played by people under the age of 18, especially under 13. The games are user-created, meaning that anyone could make a game with varying levels of craftsmanship, based on your coding, time, etc. However, most users strictly play games.

The currency the platform uses is called ROBUX. They used to be earned with TIX, but those were scrapped around 2016. They can still be earned via game developing, but that is very uncommon without spending ROBUX to get people to play. The main ways to get them are purchasing them directly, getting them with a Premium subscription, or earning them from developing things like clothing and games. You will need a Premium membership in order to make clothing on the website.

Roblox videos are common on YouTube, with several famous YouTubers being Denis, Flamingo/Albertsstuff, MeganPlays, Leah Ashe, Poke, Tofuu, etc. Most of these channels primarily make Let’s Play videos, but some like Flamingo make trolling videos.

The platform has many popular games, such as Adopt Me, Arsenal, Murder Mystery 2, Mad City, Royals High, etc. The front page for games fluctuates and has had many trends, such as Su Tart stories in 2019. Game trends include simulators and tycoons. Some games feature many micro transactions, which some players find annoying.
