Someone who constantly talks about their liberal viewpoints to overcompensate for other things. These people say they are liberals but don't believe in equal rights for women, own guns, or have other traditionally conservative viewpoints.

a (unfortunately) prevalent hair-style seen in indie circles. the perpetrator often wears knee-high wrestling shoes, with faded pseudo-trendy jeans (obviously faded - preferably torn in more than one spot.) The delinquent will also travel in groups with other degenerates with geomteric haircuts.

The irritating and disturbing occurrence when the Shuffle feature of your iPod, which randomly selects which songs to play, chooses two incredibly wrong or innapropriate songs to play back-to-back.
Chris nearly choked on his beer as he heard his iPod switch from "Buttons" by the Pussycat Dolls to Perry Como's "Catch a Falling Star." He quickly skipped to the next song to deal with this huge faux pod.

When waiting in a large crowd to meet someone for a first date, one must not seem too interested. In order to disguise one's anticipation, one fiddles with their cell phone pretending to have recieved either a text message or phone call as the other approaches; thus making the initial hello slightly less awkward and far more nonchalant.
1) While Johnny was approaching, I made a faux call so he wouldn't think I was waiting for him long.
