differently social

The proper attribution or way to describe introverts. Introverts are not antisocial, they are simply differently social.
Shy folx are not antisocial. They do infact socialize and engage with people. Their approach to social engagement is different. Shy folk or introverts shouldn't be labeled antisocial; they should be referred to as differently social.

Champaign Socialist

Someone who pretends to advocate for the working class but actively discriminates against people from a lower socio-economic background. This can take of the form of various types of ways such as being condescending towards the less educated, and those who lack similar economic opportunities or cultural exposures. Particularly it can perpetuate a type of class war through culture and education, or climbing a hierarchical ladder in a socialist organization, while also discrediting and demeaning other people's viewpoints given their perceived education and privileged socioeconomic upbringing.
God, I can't believe that champaign socialist tried to get that person fired for saying something mildly controversial, even though they might have a family to support or could be struggling with addiction.

democratic socialist

see also; champagne socialist, oxymoron, left wing populism

democratic socialist; somebody who is a left wing populist.

if you don't want to read all of this, here's your definition in simple terms; a childlike, imaginary world of how society should work.

a person, usually of upper middle class or upper class who subscribes to the idea of a classless society in which all are equal. in other words, they wish establish a welfare state. these people typically discuss a "revolution" with such cult-like behavior, that you could easily compare it to christians awaiting the rapture.

the majority of democratic socialists support Palestine, Ukraine, and the Scandinavian welfare model.

prominent (D)emocratic socialists include Bernie Sanders, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC), Hasan Piker, etc.

the use of the word "democratic" means the interests of the Democratic Party (USA), and has always meant that. socialism inherently involves interventionism (soft term for authoritarianism), so the use of democratic is to simply attract more supporters, usually liberals who keep lying to themselves that they're not authoritarian.

oh, and don't EVEN get me started on that dumbfuck Hasan.

tl;dr, socialists who want to pretend to be libertarian.
Emily, (inhabitant of Pittsburgh): "Hi!!! I'm a Democratic Socialist, the wealth inequality in the US is INSANE! This is why we must raise the minimum wage, tax the rich, fund our schools and provide universal healthcare!"

Bobby, (inhabitant of Knoxville): "so Emily, how would you pay for all of that?"

Emily, (inhabitant of Pittsburgh): "SHUT UP YOU REACTIONARY!!! #BLM #ACAB #EatTheRich"

Mechanical Social Sciences

A reductionist approach to studying society that models human behavior using principles derived from classical physics: equilibrium, linear causality, and predictable, law-like regularities. It treats individuals as interchangeable particles, societies as closed systems, and social change as a series of push-pull forces. This was the dominant ambition of 19th-century sociology (Comte's "social physics"), and it persists in certain economic models and policy frameworks that assume predictable responses to incentives.
Mechanical Social Sciences Example: Rational Choice Theory in economics is Mechanical Social Science. It assumes humans are utility-maximizing particles, markets are frictionless planes, and prices are forces that drive systems to equilibrium. This model is mathematically elegant and occasionally predictive—but it systematically fails when humans behave emotionally, culturally, or altruistically. It is physics envy applied to the messy, meaningful business of social life.
