Dixieland Socialist

A White Southerner who advocates for socialism without actually practicing it or reading the works from Socialist/Communist authors and Thought-Leaders or thinks they are a socialist when in reality they barely know the basic principals of socialism.

Bob's application got rejected, he's a Dixieland Socialist.

A person who appeals to a fanbase that feels ignored by higher authorities or the corporation that owns the IP the fanbase is based around.
