Welfare-State

A Republican state that is a net-loss to the United States, taking more money then they give.

This is usually extremely hypocritical since these "welfare-states" are vehemently against welfare and promote "pulling yourself up by the bootstraps" as a socially accepted standard.

States dependent on federal aid:
1. Montana 46.1% - republican
2. Wyoming 44.5% - republican
3. Louisiana 43.7% - republican
4. Mississippi 43.3% - republican
5. Arizona 43.1% - republican

Damn, Texas is once again asking for federal aid, they are such a welfare-state, they can't do anything without the other state, they couldn't go independent even if they wanted to!

Between the farm subsidies and taxpayer support for their pray-the-gay-away clinics, the Bachmann family is so Nouveau Welfare.

These types of jobs typically pay up to $3.00 above minimum wage.

Welfare wages is the type of total economy that the US moves closer to with each passing year.
