Orange Republic

Similar to a banana republic, that being a country governed in the interested of corporations, with extremely high income disparity and vast swathes of the population living in abject poverty whilst wealth and power are rapidly concentrated into smaller groups of disgustingly rich motherfuckers. Major tax breaks for the rich and exploitation of local resources and populations are inherent in both banana republics and orange republics.

The orange republic is differentiated from the banana republic in that it is run by Donald Trump. And it's worse.
Jill: Have you seen that Trump is offering tax breaks to major corporations so they don't have to pay much tax at all, to stop them avoiding tax?
Jack: Yeah, he's just legitimising tax avoidance. The US is becoming such an orange republic

Port Republic

a backwater suburb 20 minutes outside of Atlantic City. If you’re from here you know how the public school hired a pedo for a choir teacher, and the church defended him. That’s this town’s legacy. Other than that it’s full of parents forgetting to raise their kids, and gossip moms with nothing better to do than ignore their falling marriages. The delinquent kids drove the old hags of Port to complain about anything related to children having a childhood on a facebook page appropriately named Port Gang.

Republic

A political belief the Constitution is still America's foundation freedom of speech for all(not just one race)all races matter; right to bear arms to protect yourself and loved ones; religious freedom (without violence or coersion), and equality of gender, race, and nationality(also the principle to be proud of one's customs and ethnicity) Our acceptance of diversity enriches the whole. Government shouldn't infringe on capitalism except in regards to monopolies. The government should take care of United States citizens or those attempting to legally gain citizenship. We are not keepers of the world before tending to u.s. needs and shortcomings. Most simply put each action and outcome overrides any talk and " the fairytale way it should be". In general why are politicians so rich, compared to their constituents they're supposed to be working and serving for?????
Without Republicans to stand up for constitutional rights and hands off government America would no longer be a democracy by the people for the people with an individual's determination to persue happiness and overcome barriers of race, gender, or caste.

republic day

A national holiday you can celebrate instead of Independence Day if you're a Filipino immigrant.

July 4, 1946 marks the day when the Philippine Islands declared independence from America's posession. It was formerly known to be the country's Independence Day, until it was moved to June 12 to celebrate the nation's independence from Spain in 1898.
Aquino: It's the 4th of July! It's a great day to be Filipino!!
Adam: Why? It's an American holiday.
Aquino: It's Republic Day for the Philippines! If only they sold yellow along with those white, blue, and red cupcakes at Walmart.
