They have them in unneeded places like where there is already carpet, or too many close together on a tile/wood flooring.There should on average about 4-5 rugs in a house depending on size but they far exceed that number. They also most likely have a cat(s) and/or bird(s). This is someone you know like a grandmother or aunt. They do not realize they are rug nutty until someone points it out.
