Drug store christmas

The horrible gifts from the drug store such as a knock off gaming console, a book with i generic title , or a over priced action figure from something you have never heard of. Then these gifts are given to an unlucky child for christmas.

Mom: ok son open your gift!

Mom: Isnt that what you wanted?

little billy: No you dumb bitch, i specifically asked for a playstation 3. wtf is this shit.

Big-box store

Refers to warehouse stores, not because they are in big box-shaped buildings, but because the merchandise comes in big, bulk boxes for stocking items in quantity rather than individual portions. Costco, BJ's, Sam's Club, are big-box stores. Walmart and Target are not.

People who use this term to refer simply to big stores are clueless. Almost all stores are in big rectangular buildings. This is not what the phrase means.

"Save by stocking up at a big-box store."

Dollar store mentality

When you believe that things that are a dollar or less should be bought in bulk because they are so cheap.

My Mom went out and bought 20 pairs of star shaped sunglasses because "someone would definitely get a dollar worth of fun out of them". She has a dollar store mentality.

My friend Paty used to say "If it's for free, it's for me....but the dollar store is good too."

Camel Store

A gas station or mini mart owned by a middle easterner. Camel Stores are usually small and dirty. The owner usually speaks little or no English. Camel Store bathrooms are particularly dirty, they also water down their gas. Camel Store owners sell junk food under WIC and Food Stamps, they also ring up multiple bags of pork rinds for black people buying Newport's with food stamps. Signs in the windows usually read in big print "WE ACCEPT QUEST CARDS" Camel Stores cheat the lottery so you never get any good scratch off's or paper tickets. If a jackpot is won at a camel store it's usually by the owner. Camel Stores in bad neighborhoods get robbed a lot, so they put prison like bars over the glass windows with a little slot to put your money into. Generally, camel stores are a last resort. Popular names for camel stores are Marathon, Mobil, Amaco, 7-11, and occasionally BP, Speedway, and Citgo. Some also have off names like Hico or Himalayan.

"Don't shop at Marathon, that's a camel store"
"I bought a powerball from the camel store and lost, I only got 10 miles to the gallon from their gas too"

adj. Used to describe a celebrity that would be considered attractive among the regular, everyday people one might see out and about at the grocery store, but not considered particularly beautiful among peers in the entertainment industry.
