Referring to the quote from the movie "Cars," it is believed to be coined off of Muhammad Ali's "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee."

But in the movie it seems to be a variation of Ali's quote but in "racing terms," since both Cadillac and Beemer (BMW) are both real life car manufacturers.

Moreover, some luxury watches, like Richard Mills, can be confiscated by the store when taken in for service or repair if the store suspects them to be counterfeit. Additionally, there have been instances where a rapper’s chain was confiscated because authorities mistook it for a weapon, like a small knife. Also, getting scammed by counterfeit jewelry, like fake gold or diamonds, can contribute to the bling sting. In essence, a bling sting really does hurt, deflating one’s ego and can really hurt like a real life sting it can be on of the worst pains ever to.
