Apparently, streamers had a better chance of getting the disease than anybody else. There were rumours that Tyler (Ninja) Blevins was killed by the disease, giving the creator of the fictional disease, Ligma what he wanted. Memes of the disease have been used like “Ligma Balls” and more.
