The lesser known father of Steve Irwin.
Born on June 8, 1939, Bob Irwin has been an animal conservationist for more than fifty years. He is still very much alive as of now, and has continued to live through the indescribable pain of outliving one's own child since his son's incredibly unusual death in September 2006. He was also the cause of some family drama in June 2021, when his granddaughter claimed that he was very cold and distant, sometimes to the point of flat-out abuse.

Bob Irwin is quite amazing when you think about it. The man found out that his son died doing what he loved, and it inspired him to keep going. He even semi-retired two years later to pay respects to Steve.

The yearning for normalcy that only a guy named Bob can provide. In a world filled with violence, extremes, political agendas and endless drama a friend named Bob will always remind you that ho hum ain't so bad after all.
Between CNBC and Fox news I don't know what's real and what's not! I'm feeling "Bob withdrawal" coming on.
