A word made up and now widely used by people who are trying to be edgy or trying to look "woke." It's supposed to be a new slur for straight people, especially men. Most of the people using it are straight themselves and just use it because they think it makes them cool or different.

A person who’s parents raised them right, they treat a girl respectfully and make sure they are happy in their relationship, or happy outside of a relationship. Simp is mostly used by kids who think they’re cool because they make their friends think they’ll treat a girl terribly, when in reality they would probably stutter when talking to one.
