Canadian base system

The Canadian base system is:

- first base: kissing and fondling breasts

- second base: hand job, fingering or oral sex

- third base: sex, and

- home base (or fourth base): sex with a hockey puck used as a dildo and maple syrup used as lubricant.

Katie: All my friends from back home in Northern Ontario go to home base (Canadian base system) by the time they're 15.

Cisco Systems

n. - A Fortune 500 company that engineers, and manufactures internetworking solutions (i.e. - Routers, Switches, Access Servers, etc'). By developing highly functional, configurable, and scaleable hardware and software, The Internet is run nearly exclusively by Cisco Systems equipment. However, due to inadequate competition, knowing how to configure alternative networking equipment (i.e. - Baystack) is of little use in the job market. With this in mind, Cisco introduced the Cisco Networking Academy in which students learn the basics of computer networking all the way up to advanced WAN configuration. Using this Vertical Integration model, Cisco has virtually clenched it's monopoly in it's sector of the IT industry.

Step-1: Design new Router
Step-2: Educate IT professionals on configuring said Router.
Step-3: Require said professionals to re-certify every three years.
Step-4: During re-certification period, design new Router.

Repeat Steps 2-4 until world domination is achieved.

Homeland Security Advisory System

a system of fear tactics to keep the uninformed, ignorant, and resistant masses under the government's control. The System is divided into 5 risk levels; Severe, High, elevated, guarded, and low. its rarely Low because there is WMDs and "insurgents" in Iraq. It is really convenient to raise the alert before a political event where there may be protestors-I mean terrorists.

The Homeland Security Advisory System was raised to orange August 1, 2004 weeks before the GOP convention.

Metric system

A measurement systembased off the number 10, the size of the earth, and proprties of water. It was intruduced by French revolutionaries with the intention of creating system that was logical and easy to use, and because the previous system had been based on the feet of the king, whom they had killed.

In practical terms, one metre is a pace, half a litre is a large drink, which ways about half a kilogram, and all temperatures below -20 celsius and above 35 celsius are unbearable.

Theoretically all major nations except the united states use the metric system. In practice, all nations including the united states use a mixture of the metric system and older units.

Scientists generally use the metric system almost exclusively, but the average man on the street still finds it a bit abstract.
