model peddler

Model peddlers are people who hide behind models and theoretical frameworks because they are unable to think for themselves. They argue with you and defend their viewpoint citing academic models. They describe themselves and the world in terms of models like Clifton Strengths, Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), DiSC and other models.

Why are they peddlers? Because they are trying to sell you on models to avoid having you discover they can't think for themselves. They are hiding their insecurities, personality deficiencies, and are intellectually disingenuous. Also known as a model whore or model guy.

There Roger goes again citing a model to convey his viewpoint. He is such a model peddler. He's always trying to sell us on this inane framework!

Threading the peedle

When one person is sitting down on the toilet to relieve themselves and a secondary person urinates in a fashion that the stream goes between the sitting person's legs and into the toilet bowl.
