Shawn Mendes, from his full name Shawn Peter Raul Mendes, is a Canadian pop singer born in Toronto (Ontario) August 8th 1998. He was most known for his two singles "Treat You Better" and "In My Blood" but you may also know him from "Mercy", "Stitches" or "There's Nothing Holdin' Me Back". His career began on Vine where he was posting short videos of him singing his favourite songs (like "As Long As You Love Me" by Justin Bieber, it was the most seen Vine on his page). At only 14 years old he reached 100k of followers on Vine, and not a long time after that he went on tour with Magcon. In June 2014 he released his first song called "Life of the party" and it was a huge success due to his fans (called the mendesarmy) that were (and still are) VERY supportive.... 4 years later he's now a big pop star, very sweet with everyone and extremely talented (amo). He has released 3 studio albums, named: "Handwritten (2015), "Illuminate" (2016) and the self titled album "Shawn Mendes" (2018).
