Device used to provide some comfort when sleeping alone in a bed. Mostly used by women whose men often arrive late at home. The sjeursjeken keeps them warm while waiting for their partner in bed. It can also be used by men, although this is far less common.

There are the classic manual models as well as automated models, referred to as an "electric sjeursjeken".

Dude 1: I'm often arriving late at home and my wife doesn't want to go to bed before I come home.
