Single

The best thing in a relationship. There might be little disadvantages with being single but there are MANY advantages being single. See below.

Some advantages:

-You can go WHEREVER THE HELL you want to go
-One word: Independence
-You can have a crush on anyone
-No relationship fights and stuff
-I think there are more...

Some people say being in a relationship is the happiest thing for a person, but being single is just as equal to that.

single white femaled

When someone you trusted, believed was a confidante and shared things with, steals your ideas, connections and concepts for their own benefit. They begin to gain higher status than you and you see your ideas being prmoted by this person and they receive the kudos instead of you.

I realised I was being single white femaled by this guy at work when I saw the boss implementing my idea that I had shared with my colleague. It appeared as though he was stepping into my role and pushing me aside. I was the one eventually made redundant as he took over more and more of my job.

A school relationship that last until the very last day of school then ends because everyone knows relationships dont stand a chance over the summer.

Michael had to dump his girlfriend he had since August 1 on the last day of school for her own good. Hes going to have a single summer.

A relationship of a couple owning just one penis. This implies presumably also the ownership of a vagina.

Patricia and James live now together. They started a regular single penis relationship (SPR) after some turbulences. Cp. to Double Penis Relationship (DPR) and Zero Penis Relationship (ZPR).

single by choice

A person who does not wish to be in a relationship. They value their independence and do not feel they need to have a boyfriend / girlfriend / husband / wife to gain validation. People who are single by choice may still go out or date casually, but do not chose to be in a long term committed relationship.

Not to be confused with playas, pimps, hoes, etc, who stay out of committed relationships in order to justify their promiscuity.

People who are single by choice may also be so because their friends, family, society, etc, would frown upon, discriminate, or persecute them because of the relationship they are in. For example, same-sex couples, mixed race couples, etc may say that they are "single by choice" when in fact they are in a relationship, but do not wish to acknowledge that they are to people who may be hostile.

1. Mark is single by choice. He dates sometimes but values his independence too much to get involved long-term.

2. Erin is a successful businesswoman who wants the freedom to have a carreer, travel, and make her own choices in life. Therefore she is single by choice.

2. Jessica must live in her own apartment and tell her racist family that she is single by choice, because they would not approve of her black boyfriend.
