Get the Feminismmug. A movement trying to liberate women across the world from oppression. Though people give it a lot of hate, it is here to help women get economical, political and social justice!
Though the corporate feminism has poisoned what feminism fights for and many pseudofeminists are hypocrites, it is still a necessary movement for women. Most feminists stand for rape prevention, domestic violence help and no sex trafficking and not girl power lipsticks and a female version of ghostbusters! The media will try to make us sound ridiculous so people don't take us seriously. It's propaganda!
Keep in mind, all good feminism is intersectional as hearing the voices of women of colour, poor women, disabled women etc is just as important!

It is also a sub category of Egalitarianism that focuses primarily on women's issues. There are many different types of feminists with different ideas and approaches on how to achieve equality between the sexes such as radical feminists, liberal feminists, eco feminists, etc. There is also a pervasive attitude that feminism is only for women which is just not true, anybody can choose to be a feminist regardless of gender.
