An emo-core band from california who are great alla round the aspect of music they perform.Very talented singers,very talented bass player,drummer,and guitarists.They follow this up with strong meaningful lyrics.They have a very unique sound that few bands seem to obtain which combines 3 genre's together consisting of hardcore,emo,and metal.
If you do not believe they are emo then read their lyrics,they had emotional lyrics since day fucking one.Though on their album the curse they showed how emotional their lyrics can actually be in the song bleeding mascara and the crimson.Yet they pulled off a great album with incredible solo's from guitarist Dan Jacobs in songs like Right Side of the Bed,the Rememberance Ballad.Then very good bass solo's featured int he song This Flesh a Tomb.Though many willa rgue the follow up album from Suicide Notes and Butterfly Kisses,The Curse was not nearly as good as they sued to be ebcause "theya re sell outs who got emo and rpeppy fans".These people got to shutt he fuck up and start reading the lyrics from their EP released in 1998 and the suicide notes and butterfly kisses album and understand they have emotional lyrics.

And for all you "hardcore kids" out there who deny them being part of the hardcore genre,get over yourselves.They are wehter you like them or not.

And the Metal heads who wont admit theya re emo.To let you know,somebody's standing on my chest wasn't about killing someone till they couldn't breathe.
