The universal excuse for obtaining something you shouldn't have. Occasionally used for something illegal. Can be substituted for "My dad asked for me to get it for him."
Sometimes chain stores don't buy this excuse.
Store Clerk: Why do you need to buy this potassiam nitrate?
Bob: Uhhh.. school project.
Store Clerk2: Why do you need this spraypaint?
Bob: Uhhh.. school project.
Store Clerk3: Why do you need a lighter?
Bob: My dad asked me to get it for him.
A word that is to be used only in the environs of an educational establishment, and not by pedestrians in everyday typical dialogue.
This phrase is used by and among the linguistically uninitiated, who see any word longer than eight letters and/or three syllables to be too complicated, or paraphrased, as per this definition, a "school word"
Philip: Good day, sir. I can see that you are intending to impersonate a rap artist.
J-weezy: Im...per-son-ait? That's a school word!
Philip: Umm... correction; that's a verb.
J-weezy: That be sounding like one of them schoolwords. Y'all better make some sense before I knock the teeth outta youse!
Philip: Your statements are very intimidating, and I will be required to depart the premises for purposes of my own well-being.
J-weezy: (perplexed) I'll show ya yer well being!
(knocks Philip out)
An uneducated, poorly trained policeman who is stationed at a middle or high school. These cops are often seen roaming around the hallways listening in on students conversation like that weird kid who wanders around you and your freinds until somebody sais something to them. When not roaming, they will most often be found in the office somewhere giving some lame threat to a kid who brought matches or a toy knife to school. Your principle, most likely, will often bring them up to try to scare large groups of kids. I think it is fair to say that these failures would only be useful in a school shooting.
Principle: And I swear to God, if we find any drugs, alcohol, lighters, or laser pointers in your backpacks. We will refer you to Officer _ _ _ _ _.
