Ghosting

Ghosting (noun) – The act of gradually withdrawing from communication with someone, akin to nursing a dying horse—not taking direct action, but instead allowing the connection to wither away until it reaches its inevitable end. This often leaves the other party uncertain and without closure.
"I'm not ghosting them.. it's like nursing a horse, you just nurse it until it dies"
