When an individual of Asian descent (typically a male, Western country-residing East Asian, including Chinese/Japanese/Korean) tries to explain something to a non-Asian individual (especially darker-skinned) about the other person's own culture, history, or experience and behaves like they are more informed about it under the pretence of proving that as an Asian person, they are inherently intellectually superior and all-knowing, as stereotyped in Western countries. Since asiansplaining usually occurs during conversations where an Asian individual feels their social status or intelligence may be threatened, their arguments are almost always exaggerated, incorrect, or simply impulsive retorts with the expectation that everyone listening will agree and be impressed with anything they say. Take a shot if the Asian pulls out their phone to try to Google a fake news clickbait headline or Buzzfeed article in an attempt to prove their point.

Kevin: I heard that in Africa, everyone still lives in mud huts and poverty. It's funny how they're so backwards compared to us, hahaha

Umar: I'm from Nigeria yet our homes and buildings have been better built than in your family's country for decades... plus our economic growth is skyrocketing.

Kevin: Haha what? That's not true. I've seen pictures of your guys' living conditions on the Internet, it's so depressing. Let me look it up and show you. *pulls out iPhone*

Asian Teddy Bear

An asian teddy bear is a young asian kid usually below the age of 12 who is decent at chess and makes you want to kill yourself when you find out you're playing one. They always play incredibly fast and end up in losing positions but never resign. Basically you want to reach over the board and punch them multiple times.

I cant wait to wage a war on the asian teddy bears. they have plagued chess tournaments too long
