tar glazing

when you are twisting words to make the context of a situation seem worse than it actually is. the goal of tar glazing is to make someone look bad. an example of tar glazing would be, someone saying timmy is dating a minor when timmy is 18 and his girlfriend is 17 usage of the word minor makes it seem as if timmy is dating a child when shes infact only a year younger than timmy. tar glazing also incudes being very vauge to try and guide a person to assuming the worst .an example would be someone that is on trial for a crime such as rape with charges of assualt. to tar glaze would be to say they are guilty without further context to make the person believe they are guilty for the worst option.

i cant believe they were tar glazing her like that.
