A phenomenon commonly observed in, but not exclusive to, fantasy manhua that feature a shitty husband or ML, and a bitchy "villainess" as a romatic rival. When there's a jealous consort (usually blonde), Rashta's fetus requires a pregnancy (which may be real or fake) to be used as a plot device. The purpose of said pregnancy is to gain the attention of a trash husband and separate his groveling ass from the FL.
