a layman theist, laytheist is someone who does not know much about their religion but follows it anyways.
laytheists tend to get beat in debates by other religious people or atheists. since they do not know much about their religion they usually do not really follow it well if at all.

Similiar to "laterz", just another bastardized version of the word later. Typically used by middle-schoolers, it isn't very widely-used. However, its popularity is slowly increasing, as with other *sigh* typical slang.
